I'm loud and my laugh turns heads. Always down for a good time with the homies, and I speak what's on my mind with no fucks given. Sometimes I come off rude, but that's just me speaking truth.

They say that at the end of the day you can either focus on what's tearing you apart, or what's holding you together.

Been holdin' it down since 2005.

These photos were taken on the same day.

No shame.

I’m lucky to have a boyfriend who loves me unconditionally.
Even though I look like complete shit in that first photo. LOL
The magic of make-up… and hair! (My hair was tied back in the first photo)

Anyway, I’m currently at Paradise Valley Hospital spending the night with my grandma…

Went out with my girls today.
Made my first ever purchase at Sephora. I just needed lipstick, and I’m loving this one!
Claire’s eyes widened when I said I’ve never bought anything there. Then she asked, “where do you get your make-up then?”
That’s when I realized that most of the make-up I have, has been given to me. And the few that I have bought, aren’t really big name brands. Then again, I’ve never been much of a make-up person myself, so you can’t really blame me. Hahah. I just pick up on new skills real quick (I’m talking about putting on make-up).
Most of my make-up and some of my brushes, were given to me by my Mom. She’d always buy skincare stuff from Macy’s and all the free gifts she’d get (the bags with free cosmetics), she’d hand over to me ‘cause she wasn’t much of a make-up kind of gal herself. And I mean, it’s all good make-up too - Lancome, Elizabeth Arden, etc. My Dior lip palette was given to me by a friend - factory sealed, ‘cause she wasn’t a make-up person herself either. And my clinique foundation, David bought for me just because and it’s lasted me a pretty damn long time.
Hmmm. I’m a pretty lucky girl, to have all these things just given to me - and I’m thankful for it too. I’m also glad that I’m not the type to splurge on make-up, and only really buy the little things to enhance features and not look overly dramatic. I know that that’s just my opinion, ‘cause others might think otherwise. But I use mineral make-up ‘cause I like the natural look and not that cake-y stuff. I also don’t use concealer. I choose not to. I don’t care much about the flaws on my face. Nothing’s perfectly flawless.
My make-up routine consists of:
Moisturizer
Clinique foundation (mineral)
Coloring in my eyebrows ($1 pencil @ Forever)
Maybelline (mineral) bronzer
E.L.F. Primer
Lancome Eyeshadow (optional - only on days I feel like it)
E.L.F. Eyeliner
Covergirl/Smashbox Mascara
Dior/MAC/whatever lipstick
I only do this make-up shit for work. Otherwise, it’s optional. And most of the time, I opt-out. HAHA
